Complete with beautifully-dressed, king size bed and ensuite washroom, the Algonquin Moon Suite is a lovely retreat for adults looking for a peaceful getaway. The electric fireplace (with remote) adds to the romantic ambience. Curl up in the comfortable wingback chair with a favorite book or just flip on the TV and relax. The ensuite bathroom with whirlpool tub and double vanity is elegantly appointed with lots of towels, a hairdryer and extra toiletries (just in case). In the huge closet find lots of room to hang your clothes, shelves for "foldables", a luggage rack for your convenience and a refrigerator. Bring your favorite bottle of wine; we supply the glasses and corkscrew. Sit out on the deck with a beverage and admire the incredible view across green fields down to Fairy Lake in the distance. Hopefully Mother Nature will put on her finery and treat you to a glorious sunset!
We wanted to make your Muskoka experience something really special so we enlisted the skills of a true log builder to create a room reminiscent of an authentic log cabin. From the hand-hewn log walls to the rustic cedar bed, no detail was overlooked to create the look and cozy atmosphere of a Muskoka log cabin bedroom. From the authentic antique furnishings and original artwork to the amazing handcrafted bed - "rustic log cabin meets modern comfort". Your own large, private washroom is directly across the hall supplied with plenty of fluffy towels, hairdryer and toiletries.
The Log Cabin Room has its own ground-floor entrance which gives our guests the freedom to come and go as they please without worrying about disturbing others. Right outside the door is a screened gazebo, picnic area with table and a very large yard – your own private oasis. The view is amazing! Watch the horses in the fields, listen to the birds or marvel at the setting sun.
This room has the atmosphere and décor of a 1930’s Muskoka cottage bedroom but, of course, with all the modern conveniences. From the retro art on the walls to the beautiful custom millwork this room evokes memories of relaxing times spent at the lake. Don’t worry though! There are no lumpy mattresses and musty towels here! The lovely twin beds have very comfortable memory foam mattresses and are dressed with coordinating linens all to ensure a peaceful night’s rest. Adjacent to the Muskoka Cottage Room is your large, private washroom complete with plenty of towels, a hairdryer and toiletries.
The Muskoka Cottage Room has its own entrance which allows guests direct access to a screened gazebo, outside patio/picnic area and a very large backyard. The refrigerator is tucked away in the closet of this room and is very handy for snacks and drinks. You will want to bring your favorites to enjoy while relaxing in a comfy lawn chair and enjoying the stunning view.
