About Algonquin Moon

Having a cottage in this area for a few years we quickly recognized that Muskoka is truly unique in terms of its natural beauty and the many opportunities available for exploring that beauty. From wonderful art tours to Ironman competitions to live theatre the list is long and diverse. This is a vibrant, progressive community that is building on its strengths while preserving the natural environment and essence of Muskoka. It was this wonderful spirit that helped us decide where to establish our Bed and Breakfast in our semi-retirement years.

Here we are, three years later. Algonquin Moon Bed and Breakfast has given us the opportunity to welcome people from near and far. It has been an amazing experience to have guests gathered at the breakfast table from three or four countries all communicating perfectly with each other, so excited to share the previous day’s adventures, giving each other travel tips and enjoying each other’s company. Those are the moments that confirm for us why the concept of Bed and Breakfast works. It’s people meeting and caring for people. The human connection is what this world needs more of and what Bed and Breakfasts provide.
